Mokuhanga (Japanese woodblock)  Moku, meaning wood, and hanga, meaning print, is the ancient, traditional method of printmaking perfected in Japan.  Using water based pigments, rice paste, wood blocks, handmade Japanese washi (paper), and completely carved, painted and printed by hand, beautifully cultivated individual prints are created.

Linda J Beeman is a multi-award winning International instructor and artist - one of only a handful in the world who teach and practice mokuhanga.  Her imagery is of peaceful moments caught in the wilderness and wetlands of the Great Lakes and Japan.

Created in very small editions, each print is hand painted and hand printed.  They are individual works of art - not copies - and never reprinted.  She takes you to a destination, a secret place that you can experience and will want to know personally.  Creating a sense of stillness and peace and shelter.....the journey awakens you to the vulnerability of our natural places.

All original prints come in graphite frame.

All sales are final. No refunds or exchanges.
